As part of Essar Steel Ltd, we stay pretty occupied with the day-to-day work. Udhna Gam is always bustling, and being near the bank means there’s always people around. Our building is simple and doesn't stand out much, which is fine by us. We’ve got a group of people here who have been with the company for a long time. We mostly handle local paperwork and coordination for the steel business. It’s not the kind of place with fancy carpets or glass walls. We have wooden desks and metal cupboards full of files. The noise from the street comes in sometimes, but we just keep working through it. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall, we just know what needs to be done every morning. Whether it's checking orders or talking to drivers, there's always something. We like being in Udhna because it's easy for people to find us. It’s a very practical location for a business like ours. Most of us just have our lunch at our desks or go to a small shop nearby. It’s a very normal, hardworking environment where we focus on the steel and the tasks at hand for the local market here.
