Essar Steel Ltd

We are located at I-1/53 in Ferrous Towers-1 within the Nand Niketan area. It is part of the Essar Township here in Hazira. Being in Surat means dealing with the heat, but the township stays busy all day. Most of us get here early because the traffic can get a bit much during shift changes. The building is easy to find if you know the landmark, though the numbering system in these towers sometimes confuses new visitors. It’s a huge site. We spend most of our time dealing with the usual paperwork and logistical stuff that comes with steel. There’s a lot of metal moving around outside, and you can hear the machines if you listen closely. It’s not fancy. The office has chairs that have seen better days, and there’s always someone making tea in the corner. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The township has everything people need, so we don't really leave the area much during the week. It feels like a small city inside a city. Sometimes the dust from the operations gets on everything, but that’s just how it is working in industrial zones. We focus on getting the tasks done and making sure the records are right before the day ends. Usually, by five or six, we are packing up to go home to the other side of the township. It’s just a regular workplace where people show up and do what they need to do.
