Essar Steel Ltd , Surat

We’re out in the Kamrej district of Surat, specifically in Devnagari Society. Our office is at number 33. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city center, which actually works out well for us. It’s a bit more relaxed than the middle of Surat, though we are still very much tied into the steel business. The office itself is quite basic. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture or a high-tech lobby. It’s just a place where we sit down and get the work done. Most of our days are spent talking to suppliers and making sure the steel gets to where it needs to go. Kamrej is growing, and we’ve seen a lot more activity around here lately. We are just a small part of that growth. We don't have any fancy marketing slogans. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get motivated, especially when it’s pouring rain or incredibly hot, but the work doesn't stop. People in Devnagari Society know us as the steel folks. It’s a straightforward existence. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated processes. We just try to be practical and honest about what we can do. It’s a simple office for a busy trade, and that’s how we like it. We keep things moving day by day without making too much of a fuss about it.
