Essar Steel Limited

Essar Steel Limited has been around this part of Surat for a while now. You can find us over at I4-23 in Ferrous Tower-1, right inside the Nandniketan area of the Essar Township. It’s a busy spot, mostly full of people who live and work nearby. We handle a lot of the day-to-day steel requirements that come through this side of town. Things can get pretty hectic around the township, but we try to keep up with everything. Most of the staff here have been with the company for years, so we know the layout of the place pretty well. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving material and making sure the orders get where they need to go. If you’re coming from the main part of Surat, it’s a bit of a drive out to 395009, but once you’re inside the gates, it’s easy enough to spot the tower. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular workspace with desks and a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's a bit quieter, but that's just how the steel business goes. We stay busy with the local projects. It’s a lot of coordination between the different departments here. We’ve seen the township grow quite a bit since we first set up in the tower, and we just keep on doing our thing every day.
