Essar Steel, Hazira

We are tucked away in the Nanpura area of Surat, right on Banarasi Street in Kaharwad. The address is 1/2524. It’s an old part of town, which suits us just fine. Essar Steel, Hazira has a lot of history here in Gujarat. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest operation in the state. We just want to make sure the steel we handle gets to where it’s supposed to go. Working in Kaharwad means dealing with narrow streets sometimes, but you get used to it. The building itself is nothing special to look at, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our time looking at orders and making sure the inventory is right. It gets dusty, and the noise from the street is always there, but that is part of the charm of being in Nanpura. We have a few guys who have been here forever. They know the business inside and out. We don’t bother with big presentations or marketing flyers. Usually, people find us because they need something specific and they know we are here on Banarasi Street. It is a very hands-on kind of place. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea and going over some notes on old paper. It’s just how we operate. No frills, no fuss, just plenty of steel and hard work every single day. We keep things moving at our own pace without any corporate polish.
