Our office for Essar Steel Hazira Ltd. is over at 101 in the B Block of Ellam Park. We're situated in the Pal Patiya area of Surat, which is a fairly busy part of town. It’s not the main plant floor here, but this is where the paperwork and the planning happen. We have a small team sitting in the office dealing with the daily grind of coordinates and schedules. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Surat heat, but we manage just fine. It’s a basic setup with some desks, old files, and a few computers that have seen better days. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. People drop in to discuss deliveries or sort out billing issues. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, especially on Monday mornings. Pal Patiya is a good spot for us because it’s accessible for the staff. We’ve been at this address for a while now, so the local chai stall knows us all by name. We just try to stay on top of the steel orders and make sure the communication with the Hazira site stays clear. It's mostly just regular people trying to do a decent job every day. No big corporate speeches here, just the work that needs finishing before we head home to our families. We keep the files organized as best we can.
