Essar Steel Hazira Ltd

This branch of Essar Steel Hazira Ltd is located at House No A/34 in the Khodiyar Nagar Society. It’s in the Adajangam area of Adajan, Surat. It’s a residential neighborhood, so our office is actually a house. It makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed than being in a skyscraper. We have different rooms for different tasks, though sometimes it just feels like we’re all piled into the main living area. We handle a lot of the local coordination and administrative duties for the steel company from here. Being in a society like Khodiyar Nagar means we know our neighbors. We see the same people every day when we arrive. The office isn't anything special to look at—just some computers, chairs, and stacks of paper that seem to never go away. We spend most of our time on the phone or typing away at our desks. It can get a bit loud when everyone is talking at once, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone trying to make us look more important than we are. We’re just a team of people trying to keep the business moving. The kitchen in the house is where we usually take our breaks and have some tea. It’s a very simple, honest way to work, and it fits our needs just fine. We just handle the business.
