Essar Steel (Hazira) Limited

We have been set up over here at H-4-16 in Nanda Niketan for a good while now. Living and working right inside the Essar Township in Hazira just feels like a normal part of life to us, even if the plant itself is pretty massive. Most of the people you see around here are actually our neighbors, so we often run into each other at the local shops or just while walking around this part of the Surat district. It is a busy spot during the day because of all the steel work going on, but the township stays fairly quiet once the sun goes down and the shifts change over. Our office isn't anything fancy to look at. It is just a regular place where we handle the daily paperwork and check on what is happening at the main site. You just walk in, find someone sitting at a desk, and get your questions sorted out. People around here mostly know us by face rather than by title. We do not really spend time talking about big corporate goals or anything like that. We just show up and do the jobs that need to be finished. Sometimes the weather gets really hot being this close to the coast, but we are all used to it. The roads can get a bit dusty with the trucks moving in and out, so we just keep the doors closed and keep working. If you are coming from Surat city, it is a bit of a drive, but it is easy enough to find.
