Being located at G3/15A in Nand Niketan puts us right in the heart of things here in Hazira. Essar Constructions(I)Limited has a pretty simple setup in this part of Surat. If you’ve ever been through this township, you know it has its own particular feel, influenced by the huge industrial sites nearby. Our space isn't huge, but it's where we manage the local building efforts. There is always a layer of dust on the windows from the trucks passing by, which is just part of the territory in an industrial zone like this. We spend a lot of time talking to the guys on the ground and making sure we have enough materials for the week. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean for very long. The humidity in Gujarat can be a real challenge, especially in the afternoons when the air feels thick. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talk or complicated brochures. Most of our communication is just quick chats and notes scribbled on the back of envelopes. We’ve been around this area long enough to know the shortcuts and the people who can get things done. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, but seeing a project actually come together makes it worth the effort. We just show up, do what needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down.
