If you know Surat, you know how busy Rander Road gets during the day. We are based over at 20, Jay Jalaram Society, which is a bit of a landmark for people living nearby. Working as Essar Constructions(I) Pvt.Ltd., Hazira means we are often caught between the industrial vibe of the plants and the everyday life of the residential areas. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it serves us well. Most of our days are spent coordinating with people over at Hazira or checking on supplies. The traffic on the road outside can be a headache, especially when we’re trying to move equipment, but you get used to the noise. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on work here. We aren't the type to sit around in suits talking about big visions. Instead, we’re usually looking at blueprints or arguing over a shipment of sand. The tea stalls nearby keep us going when the afternoons get long and humid. Surat has a way of keeping you busy, and we definitely feel that here. Being part of a society like Jay Jalaram means we see our neighbors every day, and they know what we do. We try to keep things organized, even when the paperwork starts piling up on the desks. It’s just us, a small team trying to make sure everything stays on track without making a big deal out of it.
