Essar Constructions

We’ve been over here on Anand Mahel Road for quite a while now. Essar Constructions is just a small group of us who handle local building jobs and repairs in the Tadwadi area. It isn't anything fancy. Most days you'll find us out on a site or dealing with supplies at the yard. We started this because we know the neighborhood and how things work around Gujarat. There's always some dust and noise when we're working, but that’s just how construction goes. We don't have a big fancy office with people in suits. It is mostly just muddy boots and coffee in paper cups around here. Sometimes the rain slows us down, especially during the monsoon, but we get back to it as soon as the sun comes out. If you walk past our place in Anand, you might see the trucks parked out front or just a few of us talking about the next day’s plans. We take on all sorts of things, from fixing a wall to putting up small structures. It’s hard work and the days are long, but it keeps us busy. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing up big reports. We'd rather be out there seeing how the concrete is setting or making sure the bricks arrived on time. This is just what we do to earn a living and help people get their buildings sorted out properly. It's a simple life.
