Essar Constructions

Down in Vesu Gam, we have our office at 502 in the Batter Home Flats. It’s a bit of a newer area compared to some of the older parts of Surat, and it feels a little more open here. Essar Constructions has been operating out of this flat for a bit. It’s not your typical commercial office, which I think makes people feel a bit more relaxed when they visit. We have our computers and our drafting tables set up, and there’s usually a lot of talk about costs and timelines. The weather in Gujarat can be really tough on a construction schedule, especially in the peak of summer, so we have to plan things carefully. We do a lot of residential work, helping people get their homes looking the way they want. It’s not always perfect; sometimes a delivery is late or a worker doesn't show up, but we figure it out. That is just the nature of this trade. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just build and fix things. It’s a small team, so when you call, you’re usually talking to one of us directly, not some machine or a call center. We appreciate the people who trust us with their projects. We’ve been around this neighborhood long enough to know the local shops and the shortcut roads, which helps when we need to move materials around.
