Essar Constructions India Ltd.

We are based in the Ferrous Tower, which is part of the Nand Niketan Township in Hazira. Our office is J-3/19. Surat is a big, busy city, and the Hazira side is especially intense with all the industrial activity going on. We are Essar Constructions India Ltd., and we spend most of our time dealing with the practical side of building things. Our office isn't a place where you’ll find fancy furniture or people in expensive suits. It’s more of a hub where the supervisors meet up to talk about the day’s problems. We handle a lot of logistics, like making sure the steel arrives on time and the workers have their gear. It’s a messy business and things don’t always go according to the plan on paper. We’ve learned to be flexible because that’s the only way to survive in construction. The tower can get a bit loud, and there is always the smell of dust and diesel in the air. We don’t mind it though, because it means work is happening. We are just regular people who know how to read a plan and manage a site. We’ve been around this part of Surat for a while now and we know the local rhythms. There isn't any magic to what we do; it’s just about showing up and putting in the hours until the job is finished.
