We are located out at the 27 Km stone on the Surat Hazira Highway. It’s a busy stretch of road, and you’ll find Sunil Kapoor here at Essar Constructions India Ltd most days. Being right on the highway is practical for us because we move a lot of heavy equipment and materials back and forth. It’s a dusty spot, and the noise of the trucks going toward the port is constant, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't the kind of company that cares about having a polished office in the middle of the city. We’d rather be out here where the action is. Our work takes us all over Surat and the surrounding industrial areas. It is a tough job, especially during the monsoon when the highway gets messy, but we keep the projects moving. We don't spend money on fancy slogans or big signs. People find us because they see our crews out working. We have a solid group of people who know their way around a construction site. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes things get delayed by the traffic or the weather, but we just keep pushing forward. If you are driving down the Hazira Highway, look for the milestone and you’ll see our yard. It’s a basic setup, but it’s where all the real work happens for us every single day.
