Essar Constructions (India) Ltd.

We have our office over at Ellam Park in the Pal Patia area of Surat. Specifically, we are in Block C, unit 103/A. It is a decent area and fairly easy to get to once you know where the park is. We do construction projects, and this is where we handle the behind-the-scenes stuff. The office is pretty basic. We have some desks, some computers, and a lot of paper everywhere. Construction involves more paperwork than people think. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and workers. It is not a shiny corporate office. It is a place where we sit down and figure out how to get buildings up. Sometimes it is a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We have been operating out of Surat for a good while. The local community knows us as the guys who just get on with the job. We do not have a big marketing department or anything. It is just us. We like the neighborhood here; it has a good feel to it. Most days we are busy from morning until late afternoon. If you come by, you will probably see us looking over site plans or talking about cement orders. It is practical work and we try to do it right. We just focus on the next step in the project and making sure everything is moving.
