Essar Construction

You can find Essar Construction at 137, Laxminarayan Society, which is on Dharam Nagar Road in Surat. We are quite close to Saraswati High School, so we hear the school bells and the kids playing throughout the day. It’s a lively neighborhood and we’ve been here for quite some time now. The office is basically a converted part of the building, so it has a very local, lived-in feel to it. There’s nothing corporate about how we work; we just have a few desks, some sturdy chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets for our project records. Surat is a busy city for construction, and being in this society gives us a good base to reach different parts of the town. We often have people from the neighborhood dropping in to talk about their own small repairs or just to see how we are doing. We don’t have any big signs out front, just the house number and the name on a small plate. The air can get quite dusty on Dharam Nagar Road, so we are always cleaning off our desks. It is a simple life of managing crews and making sure the supplies show up on time. We take things as they come and try to handle any problems without making a big deal out of them. It’s just how we operate every day while we try to keep things moving along and get everything finished as we should.
