Essar Construction India Ltd.

We are over at C-105 in the Kedarnath Housing Society, which is right beside Bhumi Complex on New Rander Road. Being here in Surat means there is always something going on. Essar Construction India Ltd. is basically a group of us who have been working in the building trade for a while. We aren't doing anything flashy, just the usual construction tasks that come up. The office is tucked away in the society, so it stays a bit quieter than being right on the main road, though the traffic near Bhumi Complex can be a headache sometimes. We spend most of our time out on site or sitting here at the desks dealing with schedules. It’s a lot of coordination between the different crews and making sure the materials arrive when they should. Sometimes the rain slows things down or a supplier is late, but we just deal with it as it comes. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a bunch of people in suits. It’s just a place to get the work organized. People around the neighborhood usually see our trucks moving in and out. We try to keep things organized but construction is always a bit chaotic by nature. We’ve handled various jobs around this part of Gujarat and just keep moving forward. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. There isn't much more to it than that. Most days we are just glad to get through the list.
