Essar Construction (I) Ltd

Our place is at 497 in the Krishna Nagar Society, not far from the New Flower School on Hazira Road. Being in Surat, specifically the Ichhapore area, means we are right in the middle of a lot of industrial activity. Essar Construction (I) Ltd has been operating from this spot, and it gets pretty dusty with all the traffic going toward the port. We aren't the type of company that wears suits and ties. Most of us are in jeans and work boots because we are usually knee-deep in a project somewhere nearby. The office is basically a hub for the foremen to come in and report on how much progress they made. We have to be careful with the school nearby when we are moving the big loaders and trucks through the streets. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes things go wrong. A supplier might send the wrong grade of steel, or the rain might turn the site into a swamp for a week. We just handle the problems as they pop up. There is no use in being fancy about it. We have built up a decent reputation just by showing up every day and doing the work. People know where to find us in the society if there is an issue. It is a practical business run by practical people who don't have time for corporate talk.
