Donear Suitting

We are tucked away at 30, Prerna Tirth Bunglow I, just behind the Someshwara Complex on Satellite Road in Ahmedabad. It’s a pretty well-known part of town, though finding the specific bungalow can take a minute if you aren't looking closely. Donear Suitting is where we deal with fabrics and materials for suits. It’s a lot of touching cloth, looking at patterns, and talking to tailors or people who need good material. The office is basically part of the bungalow, so it feels very personal and local, not like a cold factory floor. We have stacks of fabric here and there. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the textiles, but that's part of the trade. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone in a fancy tie telling us what to do. We just know our fabrics and what looks decent. People in Ahmedabad care about how they look, especially for weddings or festivals, so we stay pretty busy during those seasons. The rest of the year is just steady work, keeping track of stock and making sure the quality is what it should be. It’s a simple operation. We like being in the Satellite area because it’s easy for people to get to, and there are good places nearby for tea. We just do our work and hope the customers are satisfied with the cloth they buy from us. It keeps us moving along every single day.
