Our printing press is at Number 7 in Diwali Nagar, just off L. H. Road. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit a few good machines in there. The smell of ink is pretty much the first thing you notice when you walk through the door. We’ve been doing printing jobs here for a long time, mostly for people and businesses around this part of town. Whether it’s cards, flyers, or just simple forms, we handle it all. The machines can be quite loud, so it’s hard to hear the phone ringing sometimes. We spend a lot of time loading paper and checking the colors to make sure they aren't coming out blurry. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy stacks of paper around and cutting them to size. On busy days, the floor gets covered in paper scraps, but we try to sweep them up whenever we get a chance. We don't have any fancy sales pitch or a polished showroom. It’s just a workshop where ink gets put on paper. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We like the neighborhood because everything we need is close by. We usually have a tea break in the afternoon when the machines are cooling down. It’s steady work, and we’re happy just to keep the rollers turning and the orders going out the door every day without much fuss or delay.
