We are located over at L-113 in Poddar Plaza. If you know Ghod-Dod Road, you know it gets quite crowded. Dhara Jyot Stone Art is right in the middle of all that action. It’s a good location because people are always passing by on their way to other shops or offices. We work with stone art, which is exactly what it sounds like. We spend our time carving, polishing, and looking at different slabs to see what we can make. The shop in Poddar Plaza is where we keep most of our finished pieces. It can get a bit dusty with all the stone work, but we try to keep it tidy for anyone who stops by. We aren't some big corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a few of us who really understand stone. We talk to customers, show them what we have, and explain how things are made. Ghod-Dod Road is a fast-paced place, so sometimes it feels like the world is rushing past our window. But inside, we’re just focused on the task at hand. We’ve been at this for a while and we’ve seen the plaza change over the years. It’s our home base. We do the work, we talk to the locals, and we try to do right by the materials we use. It’s just honest work with our hands and some heavy rocks.
