Dev Bhoomi Travels

Our place is at Shop No 9 in Somakanji Wadi, which is on Udhna Main Road. If you are near the Savera Complex, you are pretty much right there. Dev Bhoomi Travels is a local operation. We see a lot of people from the Udhna area who don't want to trek all the way to the main Ring Road markets for their tickets. The shop isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do. We have some chairs for people to sit on while we look up train times or bus routes. Udhna is always a bit dusty and loud with the traffic, but inside it’s okay. We handle a lot of pilgrimage trips, which you could probably tell from our name. People come in wanting to go to the mountains or different temples across the country. We spend time looking at the calendars with them to find the right dates. It’s a lot of manual work, typing in names and passport details or ID numbers. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall next door while we wait for a booking to go through. It’s just us doing the daily grind and making sure the tickets are printed out right. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to stop by. Usually, we know most of the people who come in because they live just a few streets away from the shop.
