Design Point Lab

We've been here at Dayapark Society for a while now, up on the first floor. It’s right on L.H. Road, so you can always hear the traffic outside if the windows are open. Most days start with opening up the shutters and letting some air in before it gets too hot. It isn't a huge space, but we have enough room for the desks and the equipment we use for our design work. Neighbors from the society pop by sometimes just to say hello or ask what we're up to. The stairs can be a bit steep, especially when we're carrying stuff up, but you get used to it. Usually, there's a mix of coffee cups and papers scattered around by noon. We try to keep things organized but when things get busy, the tables get pretty cluttered. There’s a tea stall just down the road that we visit quite often. People know us as the guys on the first floor of building 26. It’s a busy area, lots of people moving about on the street below. We just focus on getting the day's projects finished and making sure everything looks right on the screen. Sometimes the electricity flickers, but that's just part of being in this part of town. We just reset the routers and keep going. It feels like a real part of the community here. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit on high speed, but it keeps us cool enough. We usually leave around seven in the evening.
