You can find us at J-4 in the Japan Market, right by Delhi Gate. If you know Surat, you know how crazy the textile markets can get. It’s a constant rush of people, carts full of fabric, and tea sellers weaving through the crowd. Textiledeal. In is right in the middle of all that chaos. Our shop is small, but it’s packed with samples and rolls of cloth. We spend most of our time looking at textures, checking colors, and talking to traders. The Japan Market is a famous spot, so it’s always loud. You have to shout sometimes just to be heard over the noise of the street. We don't have a fancy office with carpets. Our floor is usually covered in bits of thread or plastic wrap from the bundles. It’s a fast-paced environment. We deal with a lot of people every day, from big buyers to small shop owners. We’ve been at Delhi Gate for a long time. We know how the market cycles work. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just get the fabric to the people who need it. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, especially during the wedding seasons when things get really hectic. But it’s the life of the textile trade here. We just keep moving with the crowd and get the deals done as best as we can.
