Light Park

Light Park is located up on the third floor of the Vardhman Comlex. It’s a bit of a trek to get up here compared to the shops on the ground floor, but we have managed to make a decent space for ourselves over the years. Since we are in a commercial complex, the shop is basically one big room filled with as many lamps, fixtures, and bulbs as we can fit. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is how bright it is, because we usually have at least half of the display models turned on so people can see what they are buying. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept in the back storeroom. It can get a bit confusing with all the different boxes and wires, but we have a system that mostly works. People come to us when they are renovating their homes or if they just need a specific type of fitting that the smaller hardware stores don't carry. We spend a lot of time standing on ladders to change out displays or helping customers figure out which light goes with which base. It’s a practical business, and we don't bother with any corporate polish. We just focus on keeping the stock updated and making sure we can answer whatever questions people have when they find their way up to the third floor. It's just us and the lights up here.
