Dave Vina

I run Dave Vina from my own place at 21/363 in the Vishv Kunj Society. It’s over in the Khatodara area. This is mostly a residential neighborhood, so it stays pretty calm and quiet most of the time. I really like working from here because I don’t have to deal with the constant madness of the city center every day. Vishv Kunj Society is a nice, friendly neighborhood to be a part of. I’ve known most of my neighbors for many years now. Most of the people who come to Dave Vina are local folks from right here in Khatodara or the nearby streets. I don't have a big storefront with glass windows or neon signs. It's just my house number 21/363. You just walk in through the small gate and I'm usually sitting in the front room. I started this whole thing because I wanted to have something of my very own. It’s grown slowly over the years. I don't use any of those fancy business words or corporate talk. I just tell people exactly what I can do for them and we go from there. Sometimes my cat walks right across the desk while I'm in the middle of working. That’s the beauty of having a home-based setup like this one. It’s honest, hard work. I keep my own hours, though I’m usually quite busy from early morning until dinner time. Khatodara is a good place to be. It’s central enough for people to find but still stays peaceful.
