Daruwala Kirankumar

Daruwala Kirankumar is based over at Nanpura Tower Road. The exact spot is 26 27. We are tucked behind New Makkaipul Road, so it’s a bit quieter than the main stretch. Nanpura is a place with a lot of history and old buildings. Our place is one of them. It’s not a shiny new tower. We just have our space where the work gets done. There’s always someone coming or going. The road behind Makkaipul can get narrow, so parking is sometimes a struggle for people. We don't mind. We've been here long enough to know the rhythm of the street. Kirankumar keeps an eye on things. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t use big words or have meetings that last for hours. We just talk about what needs doing today and then we do it. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy and we have to put down mats. The neighborhood has a lot of small shops like ours. It’s a community where everyone sort of knows what everyone else is doing. We don’t have a website with fancy photos. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. That’s how we like it. Just keeping things moving at a steady pace. It's an honest living and we've been at it for years without any fuss or trouble. We chat with the people next door when we both have a minute to spare during the afternoon.
