We are based at 37 Rander Road, right on the corner where it meets Old Madras Road. It is a busy intersection, so there is never a dull moment if you look out the window. We are also quite close to Navyug College, which means there are always groups of students walking by, talking and laughing. It gives the whole area a bit of a younger feel. The building we are in has been around for a long time and has that sturdy, old-fashioned look. Our office is not very large, but we have managed to fit everything we need into the space. We have a small desk near the window and another one in the back for more focused work. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we have a few calendars pinned up to keep track of the days. Sometimes the traffic on Rander Road gets backed up, and the sound of the engines and horns can be quite loud, but we are used to it by now. We usually start our day early to beat the worst of the heat and the noise. There is a small park nearby where we sometimes go for a quick walk when we need a break from the screen. It is a very honest sort of place to work. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't, and we just focus on getting our daily chores done before the sun sets.
