Dalal Dipak

I am Dalal Dipak and you can find me at 304 Nayan Deep Appartment. We are located on the third floor, right in the heart of the Salabatpura Old Bazar Khadki area. It’s a very busy part of the city with lots of history. The bazaar is always crowded, so getting to the apartment can take a few extra minutes depending on the time of day. Once you get up to the third floor, it’s a bit quieter. My workspace is just one of the rooms in the apartment that I’ve converted. It’s got my desk, my books, and everything I need for my daily work. I’ve been in Salabatpura for years and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. There’s a certain energy in the Old Bazar that you don't find in the newer parts of town. I don't have any big corporate signs out front. People usually find me because they know someone I’ve worked with before. It’s a very personal way of doing business. The room is a bit cramped because I tend to keep a lot of old records, but I like it that way. It feels lived-in and real. I don't use any fancy language to talk about what I do. I just get up, walk to my desk, and start working until it's time to stop. It’s a simple, honest setup here in the apartment. Sometimes I sit by the window and watch the people in the market below during my breaks.
