You can find us at 304 in Nanpura, right next door to Samruddhi Hall. That hall is a busy place, especially during the wedding season, so we often hear the drums and the music through the walls. It makes the workday a bit more interesting, though it can be hard to hear yourself think when the celebrations are really going strong. We are up on the third floor. The stairs are a bit steep and there is no lift, so we definitely get our exercise in every day. The building is an older one, with that specific smell of old concrete and dust that you find in this part of Nanpura. Inside our space, it is just a regular setup with a couple of desks and a small bench for visitors. We don’t have any fancy signs or bright lights. Most people who come here are regulars who have known us for a long time. We usually have a radio playing quietly in the background to mask the street noise. The area around Samruddhi Hall is always packed with rickshaws and people, so it feels very lived-in. We like being part of this neighborhood because everything we need is within walking distance. Whether it is getting some stationery or a quick snack, we just head down the stairs and find it right there on the street. It is a bit worn out but it is where we work.
