Daksh Filter House

Daksh Filter House is a small shop, number 12, located in the Rander area. We focus on filters of all kinds. The shop is narrow, so we have to stack the boxes all the way to the ceiling to make room for everything. It’s just me and one helper usually. We spend our day selling replacement parts or showing people how to change their own filters. Rander is a nice place to work because everyone knows each other. We get people who come in just to ask a question or to see if we have a specific screw or ring for their machine. We don’t have a fancy computer system; we write everything down in a big ledger book. Sometimes we lose the pen and have to hunt for it under a pile of filters. It’s a bit disorganized, but we always find what the customer needs eventually. The front of the shop has a small counter where we do most of the business. It’s a bit worn out from years of use. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local shop providing parts for the neighborhood. On hot days, we keep the door open to get a breeze, even if the dust comes in. It’s just part of life here. We’ve been at Shop No 12 for several years and don't plan on moving.
