This is a very busy spot because of all the vehicles passing through the check post at all hours. There is almost always a line of trucks waiting nearby, which makes the area feel constant and moving. Our yard is where we spend most of our time. It’s a large open space where the containers are kept. The ground is mostly gravel and dirt, so it gets dusty when the wind picks up. We have a small office container on-site where we handle the paperwork and the logs. It’s not much, just a desk, a couple of chairs, and a fan that struggles in the heat. Being near the Dadra Check Post means we see a lot of drivers and logistics people coming through. We’ve got a routine of checking the numbers and making sure everything is where it should be. The sun can be pretty brutal out here in the open, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any fancy brochures or a polished lobby. It’s just us, the containers, and the sound of the highway nearby. We focus on the daily tasks and try to keep things organized despite the constant movement around the Survey number. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know.
