S. S. Packaging Industries

S. S. Packaging Industries is located at Plot No. 7, on Survey No. 215/1. A good way to find us is to look for Growell India Ltd, because we are situated right behind them. It can be a little tricky to spot the turn-off the first time, but once you know where we are, it’s easy enough. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a large shed where we do all the packing and storage. There is always the smell of cardboard and tape in the air. Since we are tucked behind another big company, it’s a bit quieter back here than on the main road, which is nice. We spend our days cutting, folding, and stacking. It’s a lot of repetitive motion, but it’s what we know. The floor is mostly covered in scraps of paper and bits of plastic that we sweep up at the end of every shift. We have an old radio that plays local stations, providing some background music while we work. The team here is small, mostly people from the nearby neighborhood who have been with us for a long time. We don't have any formal uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving boxes around. It’s a practical business, and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. Sometimes the delivery trucks get delayed, and we just have to wait around, drinking tea and chatting until they show up. That’s just life at Plot No. 7.
