At Rpg Cables Ltd., we are situated at 273/4 on Demni Road in Dadra. It is a bit of a drive out here, and the road can be pretty bumpy depending on the season. Our facility is mostly taken up by the big spools of cable and the machinery we need to move them around. It is a very industrial setting, so it’s usually loud and a bit dusty. We don’t have much of a formal reception area; usually, you just walk in and find someone at a desk covered in shipping manifests. The weather in Dadra is often humid, which makes the work in the warehouse a bit sweaty. We all just dress for the weather and focus on getting the orders ready. There isn't any fancy corporate talk here, just people asking about lengths of wire and delivery times. We eat our lunch in a small breakroom or sometimes just out by the loading dock if there is a breeze. The Demni Road area has a lot of similar businesses, so there are always trucks moving in and out, creating a bit of a dust cloud. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the drivers by name. It is a basic, hardworking environment where the goal is just to keep the cables moving out the door. We don't have time for anything that isn't practical. The days go by fast when we are busy with shipments and inventory checks.
