Jagannath Extrusion Inda Ltd. is located at S. No. 40, Shed 1, over on Vaghdra Road in Dadra. We are out in the industrial part where there are plenty of other factories doing similar things. Our work is all about extrusion, which means we have these big machines that melt down material and push it through dies to make specific shapes. It is loud and the air always feels a bit warm because of the heaters on the production lines. We work out of a large shed that has seen better days, but it keeps the rain off the equipment and that is what matters. There’s always a bit of a hum from the motors and the sound of cooling fans going. We have stacks of finished pipes or profiles waiting in the yard to be picked up by the trucks. Dadra is an interesting place to work; it’s a bit out of the way but there’s a lot of manufacturing happening on every corner. Our crew is used to the long shifts and the physical work of loading the raw materials into the hoppers. We don't spend money on fancy signs or office furniture. Most of our time is spent watching the gauges and making sure the plastic or metal is flowing at the right temperature. It’s a basic industrial setup where we focus on keeping the machines running so we can hit our numbers for the week.
