Dabhi Prakashkumar

Dabhi Prakashkumar is the name on the door here at unit 202 on Varachha Road. We are part of the Indraprasth Complex. It’s a pretty well-known building in this area, so we don't usually have to give too many directions. Being on the second floor, we get a little bit of a view of the street, which is always full of traffic and people. Varachha Road is never really quiet, which I’ve grown to enjoy. Our office is just a regular room. It has some filing cabinets, a couple of desks, and a place to sit. It’s nothing special to look at, but it’s where I spend most of my life. I don’t care much for fancy decorations. I think a workspace should be for working. It’s just me and a couple of helpers sometimes. We handle everything ourselves, from the paperwork to the actual jobs. We don’t have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It’s a very direct way of doing things. If there’s a problem, I’m the one who fixes it. That’s how a local business should be, I think. People in the complex know us, and we know them. It’s a nice little community within Indraprasth. We’ve been here for a good while and don’t plan on moving anytime soon. It’s home for the business. I usually keep the door open a crack to let some air in when it's warm.
