We’ve been at this spot for a while now, right across from Bombay House on Nagdevi Street. It’s a busy corner but we like it here. Most people come in looking for specific camera parts or maybe a new lens they saw online. We try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves, even though it’s hard to fit it all. If you walk down Udhna Magdalla Road or past the Tara building, you can’t really miss us. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others helping out with the customers. We spend a lot of time cleaning gear and checking that everything works before it goes out. Sometimes people just stop by to talk about their old film cameras. We still handle some of that older equipment because people still use it, believe it or not. It gets dusty in the shop sometimes with all the traffic outside, so we’re always wiping down the glass counters and the display cases. We aren't a big chain or anything. It's just a regular shop where you can find what you need for your photography. We don't have fancy displays or bright lights, just metal shelves full of stock. If we don’t have something in the back, we usually know where to find it or who to ask down the street. That’s just how it goes here. We open up early most days and stay until the street gets quiet. It’s a decent living and we know our regulars by name. Nothing too complicated about it, just cameras and good conversation for anyone who stops by.
