D. G. D. C Ltd. is based near the Sachin Railway Station. We are the ones developing the Surat Special Economic Zone. The office is pretty functional and simple. You can see the trains from the windows, which is a good reminder of how connected this place is. We spend most of our hours managing the layout and the growth of the SEZ. It is a big job and the office is usually filled with rolls of blueprints and stacks of files. We aren't really into the fancy corporate culture. We prefer just getting things done without a lot of noise about it. The weather around here can get pretty hot, so we rely on the fans quite a bit during the summer months. People drop by the office throughout the week, and things can get a bit hectic. We try to keep a decent handle on everything happening out on the grounds. It is a lot of walking and talking to different crews. Sachin is a busy area, and being near the station means there is always someone arriving or leaving. We have settled into a rhythm over the years. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have a big deadline approaching. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the paperwork that comes with developing such a large area. It is steady work and we have a good team for it.
