CN Kothari Homeopathic Medical College

Our college is located on the Kakrapar Bypass in Vyara, which is in the Tapi district of Gujarat. It is a bit out of the way from the center of town, which actually makes it a better place for students who need to concentrate. The building is quite large because we have to fit in both the classrooms for the medical students and the clinic where patients come for treatment. We focus on homeopathic medicine here. It is a specific field, and our students are usually very dedicated to their studies. You will see them walking around in their white coats, often carrying heavy textbooks or heading over to the clinical section to observe. The atmosphere is generally quiet and a bit serious. We have been part of the Vyara community for a long time, and many local people come to us when they are feeling unwell. It gives the students a chance to see how the medicine works in real life. The administration office is always full of files and old records, as we have been around for a good while. We don't use a lot of fancy language about what we do. We just teach the students the curriculum and run the clinic as best as we can. There are some trees on the grounds that give a bit of relief from the Gujarat sun. It is just a steady, working medical college.
