Chauhan Gautam

We are based over in Salabatpura, specifically in the Mukund Nagar section. The house number is 67997. It’s a busy residential neighborhood where a lot of people also run their small businesses from their homes. Chauhan Gautam is the name we go by for our work. It’s not a big company with different departments or a human resources wing. It’s just us working out of a spare room in the house. There are always kids playing cricket or running around in the street right outside our window. We have a couple of older computers and a lot of notebooks piled up. Sometimes we have to move stacks of paper around just to find a place to sit down with a cup of tea. It’s a bit cramped in here, but we've learned how to make it work over the years. The neighbors are all doing something similar with their own trades, so it feels very normal to us. We don't really have set business hours. We just start working in the morning and stop when the work is finished for the day. Often we are still at the desk late into the evening. We don't have a website or any social media pages. Most of our work comes from people in the community we've known for a long time. It’s a local thing. We know the postman well since he stops by almost every day.
