Ing Vysya Bank Ltd.

Our branch of Ing Vysya Bank Ltd. is over in Silvassa, specifically at the Jaineel Complex on Naroli Road. We are right by the Char Rasta, which is always a busy intersection. There’s a lot of noise from the vehicles outside and people shouting. Inside the bank, it’s a bit quieter but still active. We have the usual counters for people to deposit their money or update their passbooks. The building itself is okay, but like most places in Silvassa, it gets hit by the weather and starts looking a bit tired after a few seasons. We have a small team here and we’ve all known each other for a long time. It feels more like a small-town shop than a big bank sometimes. People from the nearby villages and the industrial units come in throughout the day. We spend a lot of time explaining the same forms over and over again. The fans hum constantly to keep the air moving. Sometimes the floor gets muddy when it rains, and we just have to live with it. We don't have fancy decorations, just some posters on the wall and the basic furniture we need. It’s a simple life here, checking balances and handing out cash. We close up at the end of the day and watch the traffic at Char Rasta as we head home.
