Chandresh Kapadia

Our place, Chandresh Kapadia, is situated at 34 Rander Road, right by the Nandita Char Rasta. We’re in Gopal Nagar, and Navyug College is just a stone's throw away, so there are always students walking around. It makes the neighborhood feel energetic even when it's really hot out in the summer. I've been running things from here for a while now. The office isn't very large, just enough room for the essentials and a couple of plastic chairs for whoever stops by to talk. The traffic at the char rasta can get pretty backed up during the afternoon rush. We just keep the front door open to let some air in when it’s not too dusty from the vehicles. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just this physical spot where people know to find us. My father used to say that as long as you have a roof and a desk, you can do business. That’s pretty much how we operate. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors when things are quiet. It’s a friendly enough area for a small business. We handle the daily grind without making a big fuss about it. The building is old, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We’re just glad to be part of the Rander Road community and see the familiar faces every morning.
