Our office is in Pisad village, which is part of the Palsana Taluka near Surat. If you’re looking for us, you have to ask for Jagubhai Vasanji Patel’s place. That’s where we operate from. It’s very much a rural setting, quite different from the big offices you see in Surat city. We do consulting work, which mostly involves helping local people and businesses with their technical or legal questions. Being in a village means things move a bit slower, but that’s not a bad thing. We know everyone around here, and people just walk in when they need help. There’s no need for formal appointments most of the time. We sit around the table, have some tea, and look over whatever documents they’ve brought in. The air is better out here than in the city, though the roads can get a bit muddy during the monsoon season. We don’t have a website with fancy graphics or anything. Most of our work comes from people telling their neighbors about us. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the local area and the people. Sometimes we have to travel out to Surat for meetings, but we are always glad to come back to Pisad. It’s quiet, and you can actually hear yourself think while you’re working on a difficult problem for a client. It's a simple life.
