Ankleshwar is a busy place, especially the GIDC area. That’s where you’ll find Cardkem Pharma Private Limited at plots 2301 and 2302. It’s an industrial setting, so it isn't the quietest place to work. There are trucks moving in and out all day long. The air often smells like chemicals, which is just part of being here. Our building is more about function than looks. We have big rooms with equipment and a small office area where we handle the paperwork. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you don't live nearby, but we’re used to it. The team is small and we all know what needs to be done without being told too much. We don't have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, one of us just hops up from a desk to see what they need. It’s hard work, and the days can be long when we have a lot of production going on. We wear sturdy shoes because the floors are concrete and we’re on our feet a lot. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to the batch we’re running. We don't have a lot of corporate rules; we just expect everyone to do their part. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We’ve been at these plots for a while, and we’ve seen the GIDC grow around us. It's not a place for everyone, but we've made it our own over the years.
