Suryam Textile

We've been here at Aditya Awas near the Old Bombay Market for a while now. Most days are just spent sorting through different fabrics and getting things ready for customers who come by Umarwada. It’s a busy spot, especially with the market traffic right there outside our door. We mainly handle the day-to-day work of running a textile business, checking rolls of cloth and making sure everything is where it needs to be. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us busy enough. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work with the space we have in room 504. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when new stock arrives, but that's just how it goes in this part of town. People around here know where to find us if they need something specific for their projects. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We just focus on the cloth and getting through the orders. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving things around, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood is always noisy with the market nearby, which is fine because it keeps things moving along. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start the day's tasks. There's always something to do, whether it's counting inventory or talking to the folks who stop in. It’s a simple setup we have here for our textile work.
