Bob Plast

You can find Bob Plast over at A-2 in the Ankur Shopping Center. We are right across from the Sardar Bridge on Adajan Road. It’s a very busy spot because of the bridge traffic. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find a place to park their scooters near the entrance. Our shop is tucked away inside the center. It’s not a very big space, so we have to stack things high up toward the ceiling. We deal with plastic items of all sorts. It can get a bit of a plastic smell in the shop when it’s a hot afternoon and the breeze isn't coming through. We’ve been in this shopping center for quite some time now. We know the other shop owners nearby and we usually say hello when we arrive in the morning. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you ask for something, we might have to move three other boxes to get to it. We don't use computers for everything; we still have a big paper ledger where we write things down. It feels more reliable that way. Adajan Road is always noisy, but once you are inside the shop, it feels a bit quieter. We aren't trying to be the biggest plastic supplier around. We just want to stay open and keep the shelves stocked for whoever walks in. It’s a simple way to make a living and we like it.
