We are over in the Beshetan area of Surat, right in the Gurukrupa Industry complex. Our place is Plot No. 506 and 507, and we've been here for a while now. If you are near the Safari Complex, you are pretty close to where we are located. We deal with jari and other items you’d expect to find in a store like ours. Surat is the heart of the textile world in India, so it's always fast-paced and noisy around here. We’ve got our phone number right there in the name because that’s how most people reach us to ask about what we have. We don't have a website or any online shop. We just answer the phone and talk to folks who need materials for their work. The shop is usually full of rolls of jari and different fabrics we keep in stock. It gets a bit crowded when we have a new delivery arriving and we have to stack things up. My cousins help me out with the daily work and keeping the records. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Gujarat, just a reliable place for the local weavers who need these specific items. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial estate and we just sit outside on the steps and wait. It’s a part of life in this area. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just sell jari and try to keep things moving.
