Shankar Plywood Hardware

Shankar Plywood Hardware is located in the Bhavani Complex at A-15. We are right opposite the Gujrat Cnc Gas Pump in Kamrej. It is a very busy road and there is always someone pulling into the gas station or stopping by our shop. We have stacks of plywood leaning against the walls and boxes of screws and hinges everywhere. It smells like sawdust and metal in here. We spend most of our time helping people find the right size of wood or the specific handles they need for their cabinets. The complex can get a bit crowded on the weekends. We don't have any polished displays; it is just shelves and piles of stock. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer wants because we have so many small items tucked away. Kamrej is growing fast, so there are always new buildings going up around us. We see a lot of carpenters and builders coming in throughout the day. We just drink our tea and wait for the next person to walk through the door. The traffic outside never seems to stop, but inside we just focus on the hardware. It is a simple business. We open early and close when the streetlights come on. We have been here at this spot for a while and most folks know where to find us. It’s just how we live.
