Surbhi Silk Mills Pvt. Ltd. is situated in the Bhagwati Nagar Industrial Estate. We occupy the units F- 1- 91- 92- 93. It’s a fairly large space because we need the room for the work we do. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other factories. Bhagwati Nagar is a well-known area for this kind of work. We have several units connected together to make it work. Inside the mills, it’s all about the fabric. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just rows of equipment and stacks of material. The air is always filled with the sound of the machines. We’ve been here at Surbhi Silk Mills for a long time. The staff knows the routine well. We start early and sometimes stay late if there is a big order to finish. It’s hard work, but we are used to it. The industrial estate can be a bit dusty and the roads aren't always smooth. We don't mind much as long as the work is getting done. We are not a corporate office with a lobby and a receptionist. Most of the time, we are just on the floor checking the silk. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make silk products. That’s what happens at F- 1- 91- 92- 93. It is a very plain and honest way to make a living for all of us here.
