Batra & Co

Our office, Batra & Co, is tucked away in the Swaminarayan Complex at Majura Gate. We are in unit G/11 on the fourth floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens now and then. We’ve been at this address in Surat for a long time. The office itself is nothing fancy. It’s just a functional space with desks and some old shelves for all our records. We don’t spend money on expensive furniture because it doesn't really help us do the work better. Being at Majura Gate is handy because it’s so central. We see a lot of people coming and going throughout the day. We don’t have a big team or a lot of staff layers. If you come in, you’ll probably just talk to whoever is sitting at the front. We handle the paperwork and the daily tasks that keep a business like this running. It’s steady work and we enjoy the people we meet. We don’t do a lot of advertising. Most of our clients are regulars who have been coming to this building for years. It’s a lived-in office with a bit of dust on the top shelves and plenty of tea being made. We like the honest feel of it. It’s just a regular local business trying to do a good job for the neighbors. We stay busy with the files and try to keep everything moving without making things complicated.
